Welcome to Jinja Connecton
We are a Uganda-based organization dedicated to aiding, rehabilitating, and educating street-connected and vulnerable children in Jinja District, Uganda. Our passion is to provide children living on the streets with a holistic and a transformative rehabilitation services through the provision of guidance and counsel, facilitation of medical needs, feeding and nutrition, resettlements and reintegration programs, basic vocational skills, and quality education. Our end objective is to see children living on the streets properly resettled and/or reintegrated with their immediate relatives and communities at large hence becoming positive contributors to the growth and development of their communities. Street Walks
Jinja connection Team mobilizing children from the streets to attend transformative rehabilitation programs at the Jinja Connection Center.
Counselling
A Jinja Connection staff having a one on one counseling session with a street-connected child. Through one-on-one sessions. One-on-one counseling sessions with troubled and traumatized street children provide a safe space for healing, addressing substance abuse, negative peer influence, child labor, sexual harassment, and the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases. These sessions help rehabilitate them by offering support, guidance, and strategies to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
