Dear followers,
We recently conducted a field activity in Namadhi village, Malongo subcounty, and Mabirizi village, Kityerera subcounty, in Mayuge. The purpose was to address domestic challenges affecting one of our beneficiaries, Bagoloire Shafiq.

Findings:
Bagoloire Shafiq had fled his home in Mabirizi due to conflicts with his parents over theft issues. He sought refuge with his stepdad in Namadhi, where we located him.

Intervention:
In mid-December last year, we facilitated Shafiq's return home. A meeting was convened at his residence in Mabirizi, attended by local leaders and neighbors. It was determined that Shafiq's troubles were self-made, involving petty theft and late-night activities.
Resolution:
Shafiq admitted guilt and apologized. The gathering provided him with suitable counsel, including stern warnings, to encourage reform. Despite the challenging circumstances of abject poverty faced by his parents, they were found innocent in the matter.

Shafiq Apologizing to his family.
Academic Check
In addition to addressing the domestic issues, we verified Shafiq's academic progress. His report card for the 3rd term of 2023 was satisfactory.

Shafiq's Report Card
This successful intervention showcases our commitment to addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by our beneficiaries. Your continued support makes such positive outcomes possible.
Best regards,
