Day of the African Child (D.A.C)

Today, on the 27th day of June 2023, Jinja Connection along with other NGOs participated in the Day of the African Child. Our key objectives were to raise awareness of the living conditions of street connected children by shading more light on the most common pull and push factors that keep children coming to the streets so that we can collectively, as a community, come up with proper counter measures through identifying root causes to underlying problems. Children participated in matching, music, Dance, and Drama which they used as a tool for raising awareness and sensitizing the community.
